I have heard wonderful things about signing. My friend Kim taught all three of her babies, and has reported that it makes life so much easier. Chris and I have only taught Drew milk, food, and more. (Confession: that is all we know!) I'm tempted to buy the book/video you mention. Meanwhile, I'm fluent in Spanish and Drew hasn't spoken a word. :) So, why not introduce them to multiple languages?!? It's wonderful to open the doors of communication for now and for the future!
